Gregory M. Cancilla We call him Detective Cancilla. But you can simply call him Greg. Before becoming a certified Computer Forensic Analyst, Greg worked in IT, designing and maintaining web sites and integrating databases for corporations. From this vantage point, he became aware of where data is lost and hidden and how it can be better protected. Greg has testified on several occasions and has been appointed an officer of the court. Gregory M. Cancilla is a Forensic Technical Manager at JurInnov Ltd. (JurInnov). JurInnov's consulting practice focuses on the application of technology solutions to challenging litigation demands of law firms and their clients, including the development of litigation and document management systems, document and electronic data warehousing, electronic discovery processing and consulting, electronic risk management consulting and computer forensics. JurInnov's client base includes United States and international law firms and companies. Greg Cancilla graduated from the University of Toledo in 1999 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. From 1999-2002, he worked in corporate information technology providing web site development, web maintenance, web hosting and database integration. He joined JurInnov as an Applications Developer in 2002 and became a Computer Forensic Analyst in 2003. He is familiar with the preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of computer data using computer forensic tools. He has completed computer forensics training programs conducted by New Technologies Inc., Access Data, and Guidance Software. He is an EnCase Certified Examiner and holds a certificate in Computer Forensics Training from Oregon State University. Mr. Cancilla has performed numerous computer forensics investigations since his inception into the field in 2003. Furthermore, he has testified concerning computer forensics on several occasions and has been appointed as an officer of the court. He is a member of Infragard and High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA).
