Daniel loves solving problems. The more complicated, the better. He
was the kind of kid who took things apart only so he could put them back together again. One
of the problems Daniel solved before coming to JurInnov in January of 2005 was how to
manage 30 technical systems support professionals for the law firm Jones Day. He
compares it to herding cats. Daniel has specialized training in computer forensics.

Daniel L. Berdysz is a Forensic Manager
for JurInnov. JurInnov’s consulting practice focuses on the application
of technology solutions to challenging litigation demands of law firms and their clients,
including the development of litigation and document management systems, document and
electronic data warehousing, electronic discovery processing and consulting, electronic
risk management consulting, and computer forensics. JurInnov’s client base includes
United States and international law firms and companies.
Daniel graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Computer and Informational Science. From 1987 until 2004 he
worked for the law firm of Jones Day where he most recently managed Tier 2 Technical
Support Services. He joined JurInnov in January of 2005.
Mr. Berdysz’s past experience includes:
- Providing managerial support and guidance for 30+ Functional/Technical Systems Support Professionals, Technical Leads, Senior Application Specialists and Customer Service Analysts
- Developing and managing both capital and operational budgets
- Coordinating resources to assist Quality Assurance Testing, Desktop Integration, Systems Development and other project related activities

Mr. Berdysz is familiar with the preservation, identification, extraction,
documentation and interpretation of computer data using computer forensic tools.
He has completed an intensive computer forensics training program conducted by New
Technologies Inc. and a forensics training program provided by Guidance
Software, the developers of Encase Forensics Software. Daniel holds a certificate in Computer Forensics Training from Oregon State University and is a member of Infragard.
Mr. Berdysz brings to JurInnov organizational leadership and
management, customer service, and application and operational
support. He is an achievement-oriented IT professional with a
proven track record of innovation and consistency.
