Security Architect
JOB LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio
REPORTS TO: Information Security Manager
HOURS: Varied depending on projects. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
COMPENSATION: Industry Competitive – Base salary with benefits package.
Description of Position
The Security Architect works in the information security service line and performs a variety of tasks including risk analysis, compliance auditing, security awareness training, security and network system design. The Security Architect is assigned advanced Information security projects. The Security Architect is responsible for the daily performance and quality control of the projects they are managing.
Requirements/Must Haves:
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance and security and network design.
- Advanced knowledge of risk analysis, business continuity, disaster recovery and compliance program administration.
- Strong project management, documentation, information analysis, and excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to strategically think about, troubleshoot and analyze security projects to provide practical implementation.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for PCI-DSS, SOX, SAS 70, HIPAA, FISMA and FERPA.
- Experience with IT/IS standards including ISO 27000, ITIL and COBIT.
- Experience with DLP (Data Loss Prevention), defense in depth and qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts security assessments and audits for JurInnov and JurInnov clients.
- Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures for JurInnov and JurInnov clients using standard methodologies and tools.
- Works with clients and JurInnov management to establish project scope and business requirements, then architects solutions to meet or exceed customer requirements and budget.
- Performs compliance audits and recommends activities to ensure compliance goals are met for JurInnov clients.
- Designs and updates security policies for JurInnov and JurInnov clients.
- Presents on information security topics independently or jointly at professional events, conferences and seminars.

- CISSP, CISA, CEH or HISP Certification
