Security Analyst
JOB LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio
REPORTS TO: Information Security Manager
HOURS: Varied depending on projects. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
COMPENSATION: Industry Competitive – Base salary with benefits package.
Description of Position
The Security Analyst works in the information security service line and performs security monitoring and vulnerability management. The Security Analyst also assists Security Engineers and Architects with risk analysis, penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, compliance auditing, security control implementation, and information security process improvements. The Security Analyst is assigned intermediate and routine Information security tasks and assists others on the information security team.
Requirements/Must Haves (2+ years experience in):
- Server and network security monitoring
- Incident response
- Network security controls
- Vulnerability management techniques
- Information Security Compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists with security assessments and audits for JurInnov and JurInnov clients.
- Assists in performing risk for JurInnov and JurInnov clients using standard methodologies and tools.
- Configures and maintains security equipment and software including firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Utilizes vulnerability scanning techniques and tools to identify vulnerabilities and remediation procedures.
- Assists in performing penetration testing for JurInnov and JurInnov clients.
- Monitors security reports of vulnerabilities and threats and stays abreast on new security research, procedures, and solutions.

Ideal Traits
- CEH, CWSP or CISA
- Vendor security certifications from Cisco, Checkpoint, Symantec, Nortel, IBM or RSA.
- Ability to multi-task to complete assignments within scheduled timeframes.
- Ability to work in a team environment with other personnel to complete tasks.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, travel as needed.
Preferences
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for PCI-DSS, SOX, SAS 70, HIPAA, FISMA and FERPA.
- Experience with IT/IS standards including ISO 27000, ITIL and COBIT.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Detail oriented.
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree and 3-5 years experience in information security.
