Director, eDiscovery and Disclosure - UK

TCDI is looking to add an experienced Director of eDiscovery and Disclosure to our growing team in the UK. This position will serve as a leader, promoting an intent based culture for eDiscovery and Digital Forensics collections teams.

The Director will be responsible for assisting with, supervising, and managing the workflow and activities of the UK Client Services Team, as well as assisting with discovery for complex litigation, data breach, regulatory investigations, and other dispute situations. They will also supervise and manage the Digital Forensics collections team involved in the collection of ESI for discovery matters.  

This role will lead the development of policies and procedures, training requirements, and strategic vision for Digital Forensics and the eDiscovery program, platform, and technologies.  To ensure an integrated response to business needs and goals, the Director will coordinate forensics collections and eDiscovery initiatives with management. They will work with business developers to staff engagements, monitor progress, and maintain a high-quality work product and work closely with team members in scaling up UK operations.

  • A minimum of 10 years of litigation support, electronic discovery, project management and legal database experience is a must.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a team of eDiscovery professionals.
  • Must exhibit strong technical writing skills, maintain client confidentiality, ability to analyze information and communicate processes, and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must have strong administration experience in Relativity and/or RelativityOne
  • Ability to work under pressure and able to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in order to meet deadlines.
  • Have a successful tracking record of managing engagements of all sizes and durations.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop business with new and existing clients.
  • Must exhibit superior negotiating and presentation skills.
  • Consultative expertise in managing eDiscovery projects and related technologies.
  • Flexible with working hours and has the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
  • Manages direct reports, including Project Managers and Digital Forensics Analysts
  • Supervises the teams, including performing quality reviews of work product and conducting annual performance reviews
  • Communicate with business developers and clients to create the right workflow, understand client deadlines and allocated budget for each project.
  • Ensure that client matters are adequately and efficiently staffed and that deadlines are met
  • Responsible for the overall management of each assigned client project.
  • Responsible for preserving and collecting relevant ESI found on all forms of media present at client organizations and in the cloud, maintain accurate and complete chain of custody documentation, prepare forensic analyst summary reports for client deliverables.
  • Prepare and provide clients and business developers with daily project updates regarding the data inventory and processing status.
  • Support business developers in product demonstrations, explanation of technical issues with clients.
  • Responsible for tracking all aspects of assigned projects and maintaining accurate data for billing purposes.
  • Work directly with software development team in order to enhance our project management workflows system.
  • Investigate and resolve project complaints as well as facilitate solutions.
  • Where applicable, has an active role in content creation and delivery of RFP responses and presentations
  • Conducts regular client check-ins; continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of professionals through coaching, motivation and empowerment.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relativity Master/Expert certification desirable
