Database Administrator

JOB LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio

Description of Position
Responsible for extensive application/SQL monitoring, troubleshooting,
tuning, high-availability strategies in a Windows Server 2003 SQL Server 2005
24X7 production environment with multiple SQL servers and data warehouses.
Support replication, archiving and backup and recovery strategies. Support
and help to define hardware requirements and storage capacity planning for
production servers for scalable database growth. Proactively monitor the
Production Database and optimize stored procedures and indexes for better
performance. Resolve locking conflicts and resource utilization.
Administer, maintain, develop and recommend policies and procedures for
ensuring the security and integrity of the company’s databases. Manage
relational database systems (optimize index creation, table creation,
storage allocations, etc.). Identify and resolve database performance issues,
database capacity issues and other distributed data issues.
Assist/Develop/Implement logical and physical data models. Establish
and maintain security and integrity controls including backup and disaster
recovery strategies. Ensure that database backups are performed as scheduled,
conduct periodic recovery tests, and participate in overall IT organization
disaster recovery program. This position requires the ability to multitask
and to complete assignments within scheduled timeframes in a team environment.
This is not a programming position. This position would not be involved with
database design as that is dictated by our software vendor.
Required Abilities
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Administration, SQL Query language
- Knowledge of database backup, indexing, database performance optimization
- Candidate must have experience supporting large scale database systems,
maintaining peak database performance levels, integrating web-based
applications with a database back-end, and ensuring data integrity.
- Data management and data migration among servers.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem analysis, and communication skills are required.
- Experience preparing technical and administrative documentation
for database activities and planning upgrades and maintenance activities.
Desired Abilities
- Active experience working with Ringtail
- Active experience with SharePoint
Required Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT or related degree and/or
5-7 years of progressive experience in database technology.
Certifications:
MCDBA in SQL Server 2000/2005 preferred

Technical Support Analyst

JOB LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio
REPORTS TO: Network Operations Manager
HOURS: Varied depending on projects. Minimum 40 hours per week.

Description of Position
Responsible primarily for internal end-user technical support and basic networking
tasks including log review, backup monitoring, tape cataloging, and network cabling.
This position primarily involves reviewing server and backup logs and fixing or escalating
issues that are found. Secondarily, the position provices support for desktop hardware
and software, including PCs, printers, laptops, peripherals, and handheld devices.
Required Abilities
- Knowledge of backup rotations and experience with backup programs like
Backup Exec.
- Understanding of basic Windows Server 2003 troubleshooting.
- Understanding of software inventory tools such as SMS and the
Microsoft System Center suite as well as patch management
tools like WSUS.
- Strong knowledge of Windows XP Professional, file and print
sharing, IP addressing, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office 2007
including Microsoft Project and Visio with the ability to
explain concepts to end users.
- Capable of network and software configuration, optimizing desktop
system performance, and resolution of issues from start to
finish while maintaining good communication with end
users and management.
- Able to read, understand, and create technical manuals and process
documentation and communicate effectively and professionally.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new
technologies quickly.
- Experience with desktop imaging tools, remote software deployment,
EFS, and BlackBerry devices.
Required Education/Certification:
Associate degree in Information Systems or a related area

Computer Forensic Analyst

JOB LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio
HOURS: Varied depending on case load. Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Description of Position
Collect, analyze and interpret computer data residing on networks
and workstations (as well as other computer media) for admissibility in legal
proceedings. Forensically collect data at client locations.
Directly communicate with clients in a consulting and advisory context.
Testimony may be required depending on client needs. Other projects and/or tasks may be assigned as the business requires.
Coaching and assisting technical staff with hands-on technical functions as required.
Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in the following areas
- Thorough understanding of network architectures
- Extensive hands-on experience with servers, laptops, desktops, etc. (hardware & software).
- Experience with multiple e-mail systems (MS Outlook a must).
- Strong understanding of multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX/Linux, MAC OS X, MS-DOS, etc.).
- Knowledge of multiple computer file systems (FAT32, NTFS, ext 2/3/UFS, HFS/HFS+, etc).
Primary Responsibilities
- Preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of computer data using computer forensic tools.
- Conducting investigations related to everything from data recovery to
advanced computer forensic investigations including data harvesting, indexing, searching and analysis.
- Must possess a high level of technical knowledge and be able to explain the technical information in easy to understand terms.
- Responsible for preparing affidavits, depositions and court testimony.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Performing administrative tasks.
- Writing reports and business correspondence.
Ideal Traits
- Strong knowledge of servers and network architecture.
- Testifying experience.
- Computer Forensic Certifications.
- A+ Cert, Network+ Cert, CISSP, MCSE.
- Ability to travel, sometimes on short notice.

Description of Position
Works with and supports the activities of the network operations department
though technical support, troubleshooting, Internet research, technical documentation,
pc setup, and contacting vendors for support or for additional product information
Required Skills

Description of Position
Primary duties will consist of performing as a functional expert on document
management software utilized for the collection and review of electronic and
paper discovery. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and
efficiently with clients concerning the utilization of the software. Additional
duties include reviewing case management documents such as pleadings;
correspondence; expert-related materials; publications and legal research;
analyzing, summarizing and coding key objective and/or subjective information
into the client database.
Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team environment
to update clients’ database in a concise, timely manner while maintaining the
highest level of accuracy.
Required Skills
- Experience with the utilization of legal database
software (i.e., Ringtail, Concordance, Summation, iConnect, CaseCentral,
Merrill Discovery Navigator, Applied Discovery, Microsoft Access)
